Eli Bault is a theatrical sound designer and engineer from Logansport, Indiana. Eli was born into a family heavily involved in local theatre and music programs, for which he developed an immediate love. Throughout high school, he participated in both the drama club and tech crew before getting an internship at his local auditorium. During his internship, he decided that he wanted to go into theatre full time and decided to pursue an education in theatre technology.

Eli is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Ball State University in Theatre with a concentration in Design and Technology.

Eli is also a student member of the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) and, in 2026, was awarded first prize in the USITT Midwest Regional Section Design Competition.

Eli strives to support directors in their vision with his work and hopes he can give audiences the same feelings he had when he saw theatrical works growing up.
